October 10-12, 2008

We are excited to announce the Young Adult Summit, sponsored by DAYA (Diocese of Atlanta Young Adults), the first conference of its kind for young adults in the southeast. This annual event will focus on empowering young adults through a series of specially designed workshops and plenty of free time for fellowship.

DAYA was created to help young adults grow in their faith and connect with their peers, and through the Young Adult Summit, we aim to continue this mission on an even broader scale, enabling us to reach out to the wider Episcopal community.

With the central theme of the first weekend, The Great Commission, we will engage in interactive workshops and fellowship aimed at empowering young adults to take their spirituality into their own hands and discern how they can live out the gospel in their own lives.

Bishop Neil Alexander of the Diocese of Atlanta will be the keynote speaker for the 2008 conference and will spend the weekend with us talking about his vision for young adult ministries and getting ideas from us about what we want and need from the church.

A tentative schedule of the weekend and descriptions of the workshops, as well as printable media needed to help spread the word about this conference, can be found on this site.

If you would like be a part of this groundbreaking conference, please complete and return the registration form by September 29, 2008.
